I remember in 2018, while JID's sophomore album "DiCaprio 2" was released, when I saw the supposed name of his upcoming album on one of the promotional images for the album, I think it caused me more hype to know how he was going to innovate in his sound when I finished listening to the entire album — Although it would have been 4 years since his last album, I say that—it was worth it! And a lot...
First, the album itself contrasts JID's skill with his lyrics, plus some more serious themes that he treats as familiar—"Sistanem"—or the loss of someone—"Kody Blu 15"—among others; Another thing to highlight is the performancing of vocals on chorus and verses, the necessary feats that fit perfectly in the songs, and generally: the concept of the album as the references of the infinity "∞" and that are so cool to discover within the album and in the small details.
Overall, this album has defined my year perfectly 'cause this goddamn album is a no-skip album from start to finish; this could be the peak of JID or it can be demonstrated in his next project!
